Alan Yuan
Hi, I'm Alan Yuan, a Computer Science student at the New York Institute of Technology with a passion for building scalable, user-centered web and mobile applications. I specialize in modern technologies like Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Python, and have hands-on experience working with relational databases and RESTful APIs. My work includes research in virtual reality, energy consumption, and flood-risk analysis, where I've applied software development and data analysis skills to address real-world challenges. I'm especially interested in projects that combine sustainability, accessibility, and urban data visualization. Outside of tech, I enjoy playing racquetball, staying active, and exploring new ways to grow as a developer.
