Maria Vladucu

Maria Vladucu is a Ph.D. candidate in computer science at the New York Institute of Technology, where she also teaches undergraduate courses in programming, software engineering, statistics, and theoretical computer science. She holds an M.S. in Data Science and a B.S. in Computer Science, both from NYIT. Her academic work focuses on blockchain applications in food supply chains, e-voting systems, and sustainability frameworks. Maria is a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and serves as a reviewer for various IEEE journals and international conferences in computer science and sustainability. Outside of her academic work, she is passionate about museums. She is a dog mother and lives in New York with her mini poodle, Sasha.
